The Walker (El Caminante)
“Our souls came together in an almost unlikely way … and … without realizing it,
a friendship was born that time transformed into brotherhood …
your crazy gypsy soul invaded my being, also gypsy and you took me with your imagination as a child to hidden places full of magic and fabled characters … with passions, joys and sorrows, but always with a flavor of life that made me feel eternal .. You spoke of velvety skins in women crazy for the experience of living, for unattainable mermaids and for a life free of ties, just as you were, my dear traveler of a thousand paths, brother and friend Joan, for me simply, El Negro ...”
It was in Munich where we met and where we decided that the world was small, that there were no barriers that could stop our impetuous 20 years …..
We lived a thousand adventures, we traveled unsuspected roads and tender ladies adorned our wandering aimlessly. Life took care to separate our bodies, but our brotherhood remains solid as a rock and our love, yours and mine, undoubtedly extends to those two great friends who are part of our lives: El Chino and El Mono.
